Yuda is the princess of the southern kingdom ,Canaan. She is a pacifist who tends to the sick and wounded from the war. She agrees to become engaged to Johannes, the prince of the Nothern country, Meteora, in order to stop the war. At first she hates Johannes because he has killed many, but her feelings slowly change as she gets to know him better.

Johannes is the prince of the northern country, Meteora. He commanded the northern kingdom's army in the war against Canaan. He is both a skilled commander and a deadly fighter. He proposed to Yuda in order to stop the war. Many in his country are not happy about the end of the war because it threatens their power and wealth. They attempt to kill Johannes in an effort to start the war again. Johannes is very much in love with Yuda, but will she ever accept his feelings?
